Michael Warshaw was born and raised in Pound Ridge, New York. Warshaw began his finance career interning at Merrill Lynch. In 2001 Warshaw became the youngest independent financial advisor in the history of UBS|PaineWebber by rising to the title at only 19 years old. He received both Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, qualifying him as a securities agent and investment advisor representative. Buoyed by early success, Warshaw began his career in lending by joining Conseco Finance. Warshaw developed a passion for the credit markets, eventually striking out on his own and founding Warshaw Capital, LLC in 2004. By 2006, Warshaw Capital evolved into a successful corporation with multiple branch offices and more than one hundred employees and contractors. Warshaw Capital, LLC arranges and funds approximately $200M in transactions every year. In 2008, Warshaw founded the Lykon Group, LLC, which specializes in raising private capital to fund corporate finance transactions.
